A new mixed-use riverside destination is set to take shape in Hamilton, with Wentworth Equities preparing to unveil Hamilton Grove — a large-scale residential and lifestyle precinct inspired by the energy and design of Los Angeles.

Planned for a prominent 7,637 sqm site on Hercules Street, the development will introduce three residential towers alongside an activated ground-plane precinct designed to blend high-end retail, dining and leisure into one cohesive address.

The first stage, launching in March 2026, will deliver 61 waterfront apartments and skyhomes ranging from two to five bedrooms. The building will also incorporate a premium hotel, creating a layered living experience that combines private residences with boutique hospitality.

Wentworth Equities Executive Chairman Sameh Ibrahim said the project has been more than a decade in the making. The group acquired the Northshore Hamilton site in 2014, holding off on development until the surrounding area reached a level of growth that matched their long-term vision.

“At the time, Hamilton was still emerging,” Ibrahim said. “Today, the precinct has evolved into one of Brisbane’s most dynamic riverside communities, making it the right moment to deliver something of this scale and ambition.”

Rather than a standalone apartment project, Hamilton Grove has been conceived as a destination — a place that brings together lifestyle elements typically scattered across the city. With Brisbane on the cusp of significant population growth in the lead-up to the 2032 Olympic Games, the development is positioned to capitalise on increasing demand for well-connected, experience-driven urban living.

Mainland Civil has been appointed to undertake early works, adding the project to a portfolio that includes several of Brisbane’s landmark developments such as Queens Wharf and 1 William Street.

Construction of Tower One is expected to commence in early 2026, with completion anticipated in late 2028.

Once complete, Hamilton Grove aims to establish a new focal point within the 304-hectare Northshore Hamilton Priority Development Area - offering a blend of riverfront living, walkable amenity and curated lifestyle in one addres
